As an early bird, I love that they open early in the morning—and even for a 6:30 AM appointment, everyone welcomed me with warm smiles and incredible energy. As someone who gets very nervous about dental visits, they made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Kristi took the time to explain everything using X-rays so I could fully understand my treatment with complete peace of mind. Their kindness and top-notch service mean the world to me. Hands down the best dental office for early risers! Highly recommended!"
GoogleKay Vu★ 5Jul 27, 2026I had a wonderful experience at Ala Moana Dental Care today .The front desk staff was very welcoming, and I was seated right on time. The dentist was fantastic during checking my teeth and James, the hygienist, was gentle and thorough while removing my teeth stains. Leilani also did a great job positioning me for X-rays. The office and all equipment are modern, clean, and high-tech—even the restroom is beautifully decorated! I highly recommend this dental office and staffs. I already booked my next 6-month visit plus appointments for my family. Henrietta Duong.

I needed a regular cleaning/checkup, and wanted them to look at a damaged crown. Ala Moana Dental Care got me in for the cleaning/checkup and verified that I was in need of a replacement for my damaged crown. They took care of the standard cleaning/checkup and then proceeded to work with me to set up a new appointment to coincide with my return trip from the mainland to Kwajalein. I had asked for the "expedited service" to get the crown, fully expecting it would be the next day. However... they had the crown ready for me in about two hours!! That alone is worth the 5 star review but.... throw on the happy and friendly staff.... I'd give more than 5 stars if I could!! I've recommended this place to several of my co-minions already. Thanks Much. You REALLY did make my day on each visit.

GoogleAlegna Bolosan★ 5Jun 21, 2026My visit with Ala Moana Dental was the best I could have asked for. While on a weekend trip to Oahu, I began having severe pain in one of my teeth. I looked up Emergency Dentists in Honolulu and they were the top choice- for good reason. First thing in the morning I was able to book an appointment online for the same afternoon. I was even called with an offer of a sooner appointment time, though I wasn’t able to make it at that time. I arrived at my appointment 30 minutes early, however, and was in the chair at least 10 minutes before my appointment time. Everyone, from reception, to the assistant, to the Dentist was friendly, professional and very efficient. I had a root canal on the spot and was given the option of waiting for the permanent crown. I was done and back at my hotel in 2.5 hours total. Normally a permanent crown takes weeks to come back and I was very impressed that they have their own lab and it was made within about an hour of them finishing the root canal. The receptionist had a very disgruntled patient while I was waiting and he handled it very calmly and professionally. I would absolutely recommend Ala Moana Dental to friends and family, especially when in need of same day/emergency dental service.

I had such an amazing experience at my dental appointment today! From the moment I walked in, everything felt welcoming, professional, and genuinely caring. The entire team made me feel comfortable and at ease, which isn’t always easy to do at the dentist. A huge shoutout to my dental hygienist—she was absolutely incredible. So kind, thorough, and attentive, she took the time to explain everything she was doing and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. You can really tell she cares about her patients and takes pride in her work. And I have to mention the gentleman who took my X-rays—he was hilarious! He brought such a great sense of humor to the appointment, which really helped lighten the mood and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The visit was smooth, efficient, and honestly one of the best dental experiences I’ve ever had. I left feeling well taken care of and actually looking forward to my next visit. Terri 🫶🏻
