Common questions

An answer was wrong. What now?

Answers are generated from public review text and can be wrong or out of date. Every answer shows the sources it used, so you can check the underlying reviews yourself. If an answer is badly wrong, email us the exact query and we will look at it.

A place has the wrong hours, phone number, or address.

That data comes from Google, not from us, so we cannot correct it directly. The fastest fix is to report it to Google from the place's Google Maps listing, which is linked from every place page in the app.

How do I stop the app asking for my location?

Open the location control next to the search box and choose Turn off location. Search keeps working: type a location into your query, or set a default location in your profile. You can also revoke the permission in your browser or device settings.

Someone posted an abusive review.

Use Report on that review. We review every report within 24 hours. You can also block the author, which hides all of their reviews from you immediately.

How do I delete my account?

Account, then Delete account. Everything is erased immediately and it cannot be undone.

I did not get my password reset email.

Check your spam folder first. The email arrives within a few minutes. If it never turns up, make sure you are using the address you signed up with, then email us.

Reporting abusive content

Every community review has a Report action. Reports go to a queue we review within 24 hours, and content that breaks the content standards in our terms is removed. Users who repeatedly break those standards lose their accounts.

You can also block any author. That takes effect immediately and does not wait on our review.

If you have found a security vulnerability, please email jchamblee@twindesigns.tech with the details rather than disclosing it publicly. We will acknowledge within two business days and keep you updated on the fix.
