After 15+ years as a technician and now running an auto repair shop, I've started seeing patterns I never noticed before. Some of them are frustrating, and they don't just affect shop owners—they affect every customer who walks through the door.

This isn't about bashing dealerships or independent shops. There are incredible people on both sides. But there are business practices that have become so common we've stopped questioning them.
